Veterinarian Technicians

At Chehalis Centralia Veterinary Hospital our veterinary technicians are experienced in a wide range of superior skills. They have many of the same responsibilities as a nurse in a human hospital including, but not limited to, placing IV catheters, taking radiographs, and performing lab work. They also assist in most patient procedures, as well as numerous other specialized duties. They are in charge of maintaining patient files, monitoring hospitalized pets, and giving medications. Technicians also play a key role in surgeries. They are responsible for inducing and monitoring anesthesia, as well as monitoring patient vitals and assisting the doctors as needed.
