Justin Ripka is the newest veterinarian to join the hospital at Chehalis Centralia Veterinary Hospital. He attended Washington State University for both his undergraduate studies as well as for his veterinary education. In 2009 he received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine and began to work in Chehalis shortly afterwards.

Dr. Ripka’s interests in veterinary medicine lay mostly in small animal surgery and internal medicine. Growing up with animals his whole life, he was instilled with respect and compassion for animals. Since he was five years old, he wanted to become a veterinarian and he is very excited to have that dream a reality now.

In his spare time, Justin enjoys hiking, backpacking, skiing, reading, music, and spending time with his wife who is also a veterinarian in Tumwater. Justin has also been active in the international community in veterinary relief trips and humanitarian missions work to Haiti, Honduras, Thailand, and Mongolia. He hopes to continue this work once he is able to again.
