Dentistry...

Chehalis Centralia Veterinary Hospital provides extensive dental services to your pet. These services include both preventive and therapeutic dental work. Dental services are done under anesthesia with blood work and possible IV catheter. Services provided are prophylaxis (thorough teeth cleaning), post-cleaning, examination of teeth and gums, polish and fluoride, subgingival curettage and root planning, therapeutic periodontal treatments, and dental extractions. Good oral health is one of the cornerstones of preventive health care for our patients.

It is not recommended you use human toothpaste on your pet. These are foaming products and are not meant to be swallowed. Additionally, many types of human toothpastes contain sodium, which may cause problems in some pets. During your preventative exam, we can inspect your pets teeth and offer you the best solution to keep their mouths healthy.
